Gelato is a hybrid strain that is slightly indica dominant (55% indica/45% sativa) and was created by crossing Sunset Sherbet with Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. It is famous for its sweet and fruity flavor, which is similar to a sherbet with notes of blueberry and orange. The smell is also sweet and citrusy with a hint of lavender and woody undertones. Gelato has a moderate THC level that usually ranges from 20% on average. Despite its indica dominance, the high is primarily cerebral and provides an uplifting euphoria and a focused energy.
